A Makerspace to encourage students to
express and share their creative ideas
STEM Room Interior & Branding Design
Opened in 2019
Collaborated with HKT Education, CMS InnoSpace is our 1st interior design project completion for Caritas Ma On Shan Secondary School. Used to be a traditional Chemistry lab, and transformed into a modern STEM maker space interiors.
With a design concept of “Ribbon of Creativity” flowing from exteriors to interiors, this flowing white ribbon acts an interactive wall to educate students digitally with latest STEM knowledge with interactive screens and projector; a showcase to exhibit physical students’ projects to honour their hard work and creativity; and also acts as a giant brainstorming wall for encouraging students to share and express their ideas during classes.

Inside this InnoSpace, All the walls and the high table are in Writable Paint finish, students and teachers can sketch on top with marker pens, and present their STEM ideas during classes.
The movable foldable tables and our custom-designed stackable wooden stools enable different furniture settings for different learning scenarios, such as Presentation by guest speaker; Brainstorming in big groups; Workshop for small groups; and can be for Exhibition. The planned storage space can fit in all the furniture and tables, and create a large empty space for STEM Events and School Functions.
CMS InnoSpace indeed creates an unusual and refreshing environment for students to learn and study in a new approach.
